OUR MOTHERS
Meet the Gorgeous Dams
At D.M.V Doodles, our dams are our pets first and foremost. They live in our home and receive regular veterinarian care. Their puppies are whelped in the home as well. They are bred responsibly and have undergone testing to ensure they are fit for breeding.

We have a small operation at DMV Doodles and currently only have 4 active mothers between 2 households. They are listed below as well as links to their health testing.
Winnie
Golden Retriever
Winnie is our 3-year-old purebred golden retriever. She has a sweet demeanor and has taken to motherhood. Her genetic testing is through embark and is linked below. She is mother to F1 goldendoodles with Ovi our stud poodle.
Penny
Golden Retriever
Penny is our 3-year-old purebred golden retriever. She has an obedient demeanor and is expecting her first litter now! Her genetic testing is through embark and is linked below. She is mother to F1 goldendoodles with Ovi our stud poodle.
Aspen
Bernedoodle
Aspen is a bernedoodle and is the daugher of Miley (Retired, see below). She is 4 years old and has had one litter thus far. Her genetic testing is through embark and is linked below. She is mother to our standard bernedoodles. Aspen is a carrier of DM but is not affected and carries no risk of ever becoming affected. The sire of her litters, Remi, is negative for DM and was carefully selected to ensure that none of her puppies can ever be affected by the disease.
Abbie
Toy Goldendoodle
Abbie is our 3-year-old miniature goldendoodle and she is the daughter of Dory (Retired, see below). She has had one litter thus far and is linked below. She is mother to our toy goldendoodles (F1b, 12-18 pounds at maturity). Abbie is a wonderful mother to her puppies and always has a bunch of love to share with everyone she meets.

MILEY (Retired)
Bernese Mountain Dog
Miley is our beautiful 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog dam. She absolutely adores her family and has never seen person or another pet that she didn't immediately befriend. Miley is always the center of attention and wants to be where the children are at all times. She is AKC and CKC registered with a 4-generation pedigree on file for perspective buyers to review.

Miley is AKC certified and has undergone genetic testing to ensure she is fit for breeding (See below). She also has OFA clearances for Elbows (Normal) and Hips (Good).

Miley has retired as of summer 2024 a few months before her 5th birthday. Our policy is always to retire our dogs at or before age 5 to ensure they can thrive for many years in our home following motherhood.
DORY (Retired)
Golden Retriever
Dory is a 6-year-old dark American golden retriever. She is a prototypical golden in every way. She loves people and will play fetch for hours. She is gentle, submissive, and wonderful with our small children and other dogs.

Dory is AKC and CKC certified and has undergone genetic testing (See Below). She is cleared of common diseases that impact Golden Retrievers like Degenerative Myelopathy, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (Golden Retriever 1 and 2), and Progressive Retinal Atrophy (Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration). Medical records and official four-generation AKC pedigree are on file and available for perspective buyers.
